I’ve been a web designer for over ten years, working predominantly for Devon County Council designing school websites and other sites for education based organisations, as well as for the Council itself.
I started my web design journey by hand coding HTML back in the days before they had version numbers for everything. Since then, I’ve been keen to ensure I keep up with growing trends in the industry and am now a very keen advocate of clean and simple XHTML and CSS, always trying to keep in mind the KISS principle. Keep It Super Simple.

My services
I offer my services as a web designer to anyone who needs one. I specialise in small business/organisation websites and I charge flat fees for everything I do. There are certainly no hidden charges!
Advantages of employing my services can include*:
- custom design of your new website from the ground up
- extensive consultation with you to ensure you get exactly what you want
- photography services for either premises, products or personnel
- unlimited web pages for your site (many designers charge per page!)
- unlimited maintenance of your site (many designers charge per amendment or have a monthly charge!)
- domain name registration, web hosting and relevant management
- use of any new and interesting technologies wherever applicable at no extra cost!
- ecommerce solutions using PayPal.
* depending on service level required
To keep your costs down, I do not offer as standard Content Management Systems or bespoke database or ecommerce solutions. A standard charge for my services (including all of the above options) would be £600 and I work down from there, depending on your requirements.
